About SiteLayout.ai

SiteLayout.ai is a free, browser-based tool for designing battery energy storage system (BESS) site layouts. It is built for energy professionals — developers, EPC contractors, engineers, and consultants — who need to create site layouts quickly without expensive CAD software or external consultants.

The tool lets you place real-sized BESS equipment on a satellite map, arrange it with drag-and-drop, and export your layout as an image. It works for both C&I and utility-scale projects.
